Using one of the Modern UI example scripts? Did you define MUI_PRODUCT?
No, using my own script.
Sorry if I wasn't clear, if MUI_PRODUCT is defined correctly (example My Product), it shows up as:
My Product (square)(square)(square), etc.
It seems as though the string wasn't saved or encoded properly, all the other strings appear to be fine.
I guess that's a problem is the language file :)
Please update "NSIS\Contrib\Modern UI\Language files\Japanese.nsh" and post your update.
MUI_UNTEXT_CONTINUE_UNINSTALL is also missing.
Actually, I think the language file is fine. What the problem was is that I didn't override MUI_FONT_TITLE (its default is Verdana - which can't display Japanese). Changing this to a Japanese font allowed the titles to display properly.
But I wonder in a multilocale environment if it is possible to override this value on the fly?
