Jakarta Tomcat -silent install
Hi

I want to do a "silent" installation of

jakarta-tomcat-4.1.10-LE-jdk14.exe

I tried with the /S for silent but I still get the message that it has found the Java Developement kit in C:\something.

I would also like to change the default port in Jakarta tomcat to 80 and add a password.

If you have any information that I could use please post, Thanks.

If you get the message box even though you have used the /S switch it means they put it in .onInit and didn't check for /S. This means they have not built their installer to be a silent installer. There is nothing you can do about it but ask them to make it possible, or edit the NSI source yourself and make yourself a custom installer.

You will really have to ask them about the port and the password becuase that has nothing to do with NSIS.
