Bug on Windows 2000
i have this installer which works on my windows xp installation. when i tested it on my girlfriend's windows 2000 installation, the icons look messy (see attached screenshot).

another friend who also uses windows 2000, could not confirm that problem. i will try to figure what builds they used.

kichik: i changed the bitmaps as suggested, but the problem still appears. i checked the windows 2000 version, the build is 5.00.2195 (service pack 1). hope this helps.

i tested some other installers and 4/5 showed the same problem. is there a way to check the nsis version used in an installer?

What about the NSIS b3 installer for example? If you could check b2, b1, b0, a7, etc. too it would be very helpful.

the installers are all available here , DeskMod ONE is the only installer that does not produce the problem

the problem was indeed a color issue (>8bit). the problem should no longer appear in future versions, since kichik added a check in the current version.
