Am i Going Blind? (use NSIS to stop/start services)
LOL soz for being a bit stupid, i m sure i saw something in Archive or Forum the other day when i was bored and it had a bit of code to Stop and Start Windows Services.

Say if user has MS SQL Server or similar installed NSIS can stop/start the service.

My idea is u launch the installer it checks for SQL server (if running stops it and then patches or updates a part of users Database and once done it starts it again. NSIS installer real only runs a Batch file to update the info( a friend and i are working on a a big database and would be nice to not have to input the New data each time one of us fix it all the time)

i can do the rest (have done it) just cannot remeber where the code or what the code for stop/starting services is

Any info welcome :D

Either use Sunjammer's Services.dll from The Archive Download page or execute NET start/stop (Exec, ExecWait, ExecShell or nsExec).
