Installer crash
I've been using a NSIS20b3-generated installer for my program, and it's worked fine for 30,000+ people (at least, afaik ;)). But, someone just e-mailed me and told me the installer was crashing on them right when they loaded it:

They have a 1.7gb P4 with a Radeon 9000 Pro 64mb,
512 mb of ram, and Windows 98SE.

I didn't have a problem ...
on the ".onInit" function it display a MessageBox...
no problem with that... :wierd:
And I have:
-AMD K6-2 500 Mhz
-15 GB
-256 RAM
-Windows XP Pro.

No problem for me:

Intel Celeron 650Mhz
192 RAM
Win2000Pro

Tried the installer on my Win98SE system (AMD Duron CPU) and it did not crash - the Welome screen appeared OK.

I tried:

WinNT 4
WinXP
Win2000 Pro
Win95
Win95 osr2
Win98
Win98SE
WinME

and no problems, maybe linux ... :D:D:D

Does it crash for him everytime? Is it only on his computer? Have you tried compiling him a version with the latest CVS version? Have you used bzip2 or zlib (I need to know so I can tell where the crash was)?
