StartMenu dll problem
I have a problem with the startmenu dll. it doesn't parse start menu folders that have dots in them.

for example, let's say these are the folders in the programs area of my start menu:

Winzip
Startup
Microsoft visual studio.net
NSIS

it appears to skip the microsoft visual studio .net entry. furhter experimentation revealed that any folder that has a dot (.) in it is skipped. this isn't really a huge problem, but i thought maybe someone might want to fix it.

This is has already been fixed in the latest CVS version. To get it (you might be required to make a few changes to the script if you're using the MUI) use NSIS Update, or the nightly build from http://nsis.sf.net/.
