Please help!
Hi,

I have just installed the NSIS. I would like to understand how to create a small boostrap that will download and install files from a specified URL. I can't see a sample of this among the samples provided with the NSIS.

I saw this done by somebody and I am very keen to create my own setup program with this feature.

Please guide me.

You should use the NSISdl plug-in. You can find an example in NSIS Update's source code (only available in CVS. You should update to the latest CVS version using NSIS Update or the nightly snapshot or get the source code here) and in waplugin.nsi. There are probably some examples in the Archive too.

Thank you. I created a 36KB bootstrap file in about 2 hours without having prior knowledge of your product.
This software is FANTASTIC! and the documentation is reasonably well done.
