Animated Gif and Install Options
This could be a cool feature:
Put animated gifs in a Install Options pages....
Is it possible?

The NSIS coders seem to be able to do anything...

This would be a good addition when used well on installers (as in good looking animated gifs).

Maybe in a near future, but we need to implemenent some kind of IO, IOEx, IOExEx :)

Because final size problems, someones don't pay attention on the size, but for others is very important

Because GIF support will make IO quite large, this won't be added to the default IO version. Maybe someone wants to create a different version that supports it.

Why do you want to use animations anyway? Imo it's very annoying :)

I like the globe animated that Microsoft uses with the Internet Explorer installer...
something like that will be cool :)

yea, many autoupdater tools and setups use animations

You can't display an IO page while downloading/installing files.

Unless someone combines the NSISdl and the IO plugin code ;)
