and in my eng windows2000
makenissw
can show chinese in output window
and save log file cannot show chinese
I must change ime to chinese first

1) Can you give more details? Which file? Screenshot?

2) A difference of a few bytes is normal because of the changes in the installer exehead.

each htm file in rc1's nsis.chm has same probelm in one of my computers, but not in all computers
bu b5 cvs's nsis.chm has no problem on that computer
maybe you can compare those files to find out their diff if you have older nsis.chm

I'm having the same problem here, on Windows 2000 with IE6.
Note that this problem is probably related to the HTML Help control instead of IE6 (I think that because I've had some problems with using MSDN Library which uses HTML Help too).

I have fixed the JScript problem in the CHM not thanks to MSDN :igor:
