Problems getting transparent color work in icons
hi there!
i need help. i'm trying to design icon's for my installer, but the transparency doesn't work. if i convert the source-file (bitmap) with irfan-view and mark the transparent color, windows displays all right. but when i compile my installer, the transparent area is colored black. i've also tried to easily make an icon with magenta instead of transparent areas, but that doesnt work with nsis too.
someone could help?

tried it with (trials of) microangelo or axialis? i guess irfanview might not be the best choice ;)

ur right, isnt the best choice, but when transparency works with windows, why not with nsis?
