IO DirRequest NOTIFY flag problem
Hi all,
Recently I participated on a thread on this subject.
The last post made by kubus. I checked it myself and found it to be true. So, if it is not by design :), any chances this will be amended?

I think you should post in that post you found the information next time.

You can get the text and verify it using System Plugin from any control.

He did specify what thread he's talking about. It's not like the other threads where you have to guess what the poster is talking about. It's ok.

As for NOTIFY, you'll get a response soon.

As the documentation says, DirRequest/FileRequest fields do not support the NOTIFY flag.

If you would like this feature, then please post a feature request; that way it won't be forgotten. :)

eccles hello,
In that case I'd like to surprize you
DirRequest DOES SUPPORT the NOTIFY flag! Only thing is - it supports it when using the Browse button. Writing the path in the text box (and leaving focus) does not.

I'll do as you asked and send a request.
Opher.

Hi Opher,

No no, it doesn't support it, it merely happens to do as you described by chance. ;)

Submitted ;)

:D lol :D
That's why I metioned in my post "...if it is not by design..."
