how to make notification like msn messenger?

i made a program, that is launched silently, and uses nsExec and variables. @ the moment nothing confirmes (un-)succseccful result. i'd like to make notification like msn messenger.. one way could be splach, but that is not good enough. i'd like to use variables in notification as well. does anybody have a glue how to do it?
You can use the Banner plug-in for a simple notification.

but one more question:
is it possible to add background picture?
A background image for the notification? You will have to customize the plug-in.
i think that i'm unable to too add background image with my non-existent knowledge about plug-in customization, so if someone does it, it would be nice to read about it from the forum.
this banner always opens in the center of the screen, but is it possible to force it to open somewhere else on the screen for example in some corner?
one more thing. as i realized the maximum amount of symbols is 41, and i belive it can't be changed, or can it?
The Banner plug-in uses the UI dialog 111, which can be changed using ChangeUI.
