Adobe Acrobat - PDF installed
I would like to find out if Adobe Acrobat reader is install on the clients machine at the start of the installation, at present I am reading the registery for .pdf opening files and if it exists then I know a PDF reader is available.
Is this the best option and is it going to work on all platofrms?

You should look in the registry for the key
>HERE IS THE NSIS ARCHIVE<
You should look for :
HKLM "Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\.....

The original idea (reading .pdf association) sounds like the best solution. It will detect all PDF readers and is reliable.
