Do you really mean you want to overwrite newer files with older one?
seems a bit of a reverse progression to me !
this archive post lets you work out the date modified of a file - is this what you want to base it on or is it the date created (will be the fsame for many sorts of file!)
Regardless a minor modification to that will do it either way...
If in fact you meant the more obvious thing (overwrite if the currently installed file is older then...
