East languages and display on windows XP
Hi,
Not quite an NSIS usage issue I don’t think, but im hoping someone else may have tried this.
I am trying to regionalise an installer. Im using windows XP with support for eastern languages installed, and have changed the language an existing installer uses from English to Japanese. However the pages are still showing in non-Japanese characters (they just look like some Unicode). Does anybody know what I need to do to display the Japanese characters?
Thanks
Steve

Go to Control Panel and open Regional and Language Options, switch to the advanced tab and select Japanese under Language for non-Unicode programs.
You can also use Nolybab.

thanks for your reply, ive used the non-unicode programs settings in the control pannel and that worked fine thanks. (although all my \ chars in windows changed to something bizzare)
I also tried Nolybab, unfortunatly i couldnt get that to change the display for non-unicode characters, maybe im missing something?
