Changing name of tap adaptar
Hi

I have created an installer using NSIS scripts. In addition to my application, it also installs OpenVPN. The tap adaptar installed during installation of OpenVPN has the following registry entry

HKLM-SYSTEM-ControlSet001-Control-{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}-{911EF545-F5A0-44AE-A9D7-5014578CEE5B}-Connections

On Connections It has the following registry entries
Name - Local Area Connection 96

How can we change the name of tap adapter installed with our predefined name. Manually if I change the name of this tap adapter (in registry) then it is working. How can I change it during installation.
It just need some registry entries at the time of installation.

Any help will be greatly appreciated]

If you find out how to do that using Windows API, you can create a plug-in or use the System plug-in to do the job.
