Installing Large CAB file problem?
Hi
I used to work with Ezsetup.exe to build installation file for my CAB programs for pocket pc. Then I noticed a bug that installation of CAB file with large number of files exceeded 1000 files generate and error , So a split my cab file to 2 files and re-write a scrpit to install multiple files and it work greatlly .

My problem when user deside to install the application on Storage Card , it fails , it install each CAB in deferent Sub-Folder and Setup both CABs to install the files in same folder , and it works greatly in Main Memory.

I need help with my appreciation in advance to find way to copy the 1250 files in One CAB file or to write directly on Storage Card or MAin Memory as USER choice from begining and not Active Sync Manager Controler to workaround the problem ?

I haven't worked with pocket pc, but why to not use ZIP or RAR archives?

Ok, could you help me or anyone, on finding way to transfer files to pocket pc without active sync ,
I noticed some programs used there own setup algorthim to transfer files without the need of active sync , due to my belive on a bug on handling more than 1000 files

Appreciate help from anyone
