Announcment: New IO (Form) Designer on the Horizon!
Hello NSIS Users,
There is a new IO (Form) designer on the horizon developed by Marc Hoffmann. Although it is not feature complete at the moment of this writing, it does show superior promise and craftmanship.
NSIS Form Designer Version 1.0.1
Size: 998kb
Status: Alpha
Download: http://nsisfd.kaju74.de
Screenshot: http://www.kaju74.de/downloads/nsisfd.png
Please check it out and give some feedback that'll help development.

Great!
I found a bug. When make a form with some control for example Label, RadioButton, etc., then save it to proba.nsf. When load it I get error message: LoadError: Klasse TNSISRdioButton nicht gefunden.
Do you plan integrate InstallOptionsEX controls?

Version 1.0.2 is Released!
Hello Laslie,
Thank you for the bug report. I confirm this is true. I saved a form with 1 label and 1 radio button. Tried to load it and was prompted with the error. Excellent find Laslie. Hopefully it'll be crushed in the next version.
Version 1.0.2 is out now and it now contains the following components:
GroupBox
Icon
Bitmap
Some typos fixed.
It's moving fast! Just keep those bug reports coming!
Thanks!

Hi Marc,
I download lastest version again and test it. The above error is good.
I asked already, do you plan integrate deguix's InstallOptionsEX controls?

I've sent a message to Deguix earlier today asking him if he can come over to the thread and check it out. I would really like if Deguix could advise Marc Hoffmann into adding those components BUT at the moment, the target job is the ol NSIS IO components.
Hopefully Deguix can come over and layout some instructions that'll make sense to Marc as NSIS is not his native install kittie.
Thanks for the latest fix Marc!

Hm...Don't know what this EX components are. Currently, I'm porting only the components from NSISEdit and give them the same behaviour. I'm not familiar with NSIS yet (coming from Inno Setup) so give me some more details (links) to this EX pack.

Marc

InstallOptionsEx has the same components as HMNIS Edit but it has a few more components and options I believe. Check out this thread.

I think you should check my wiki page:
http://nsis.sourceforge.net/wiki/ind...stallOptionsEx
Also, the current development of the next version will include:
- ListView controls.
- RefField, StateImageList, SmallImageList, LargeImageList INI value names.
- COLORREQUEST and FONTREQUEST flags for Link and Button controls.
- "State" INI value name for Animation controls:
Specifies the number of times the animation is repeated from the "MinLen" to the "MaxLen" point. If more than 0, the animation will repeat that number of times. If 0, the animation doesn't get played when the dialog is shown. If -1, the number of loops is unlimited.
Default Value: -1

Well, this can be only fixed if I recompile the project using a non-german compiler...maybe I can fix the internal constants....not sure.
BTW: [STRG] means [CTRL]
