Unicode
Hi guys..
I have an idea on NSIS.
rm -rf /nsis_cvs_tree
All your code uses ascii string functions.
that's unbelieavable..
Shame on you guys.
I've spent few hours learning NSIS script and after that
I've found that my text boxs give me only ascii strings.
That's shit!
Sometime ago I've found NUllsoft as a great company
but now I'm really dissapointed.
Sory about criticism but that's simple true.

the installer is not maintained by nullsoft anymore as has been the case for a long time. and i believe it's on the eventual todo list to have full unicode support but if it's that much of an issue for you then you've got the code so you'd better start working...

You could start of with including unicows.dll and have your go... this is just a tip, use a search engine to find out more.
And do not forget, after all, you DO have the source to NSIS. You could start of with help improving the unicode support.
That NSIS is not unicode does NOT mean you can not display e.g. Japanes texts in dialogboxes. Experiment a little before complaining about NSIS.
Be creative in getting to your wished sollution. More is possible with NISIS if you just think that extra mile.
