how do you change...
the publisher info on a installer. Attached image shows with i mean.

You probably need to add version info.
Check Examples\VersionInfo.nsi

You need to sign you application with an MS Authenticode Certificate.

For this you need:

1) -------------------------------
1 x yourfirm.spc
1 x yourfirm.pvk

To get these files see below for where to start
( http://www.thawte.com/ ) You cannot create valid file yourself, they need to be bought.

2) -------------------------------
The tool "osslsigncode" via http://sourceforge.net/projects/osslsigncode/

To sign you finished application or installer.

I STRONGLY advise to read the free documentation on the Thawte website for a better understanding!
