NSIS skin and patch questions
Hi all,

I have 2 questions related to NSIS (I tried to find the answers in the help, but didn't find them):

1) Can we add some skins to the default dialogs shown during install/uninstall?
2) I read on the homepage that NSIS can "patch existing files". How can I do that?

1) Try to search the forum for "skins" (there are some threads where this theme discussed).
2) Use VPatch plugin (documentation Start-Programs-NSIS-Contrb-VPatch readme).

What kind of skins you want to use? There is wansis plugin which allows you to skin your NSIS installer like in Winamp (c).

Thanks glory_man for your answer. Related to the skin question, most probably my company will want to create a skin with our logo, colors, etc that then I should use for the installer pages. Is something like that doable?

You can change standard colors with wansis plugin. Logo and some pictures you can insert into the header of installer.
