Custom Functions
Is there a list of valid custom functions dependent on a certain NSIS version?

It seems that there are no unique custom function names:

In my help there is something written about MUI_WELCOMEFINISHPAGE_CUSTOMFUNCTION_INIT. Somewhere I found the syntax MUI_CUSTOMFUNCTION_WELCOMEFINISH_INIT.

MUI_WELCOMEFINISHPAGE_CUSTOMFUNCTION_INIT is the official documented setting. I don't know where you've found MUI_CUSTOMFUNCTION_WELCOMEFINISH_INIT, but it's either an old setting before the final version 2.0 where the MUI was stabilized, or it's an internal setting which is not meant for users.
