QQHelper.ce Trojan false positive
Hello,
We occasionally run into a problem where the install files created with NSIS are being flagged by MacAfee and AVG as a QQHelper.ce downloader trojan. After doing some searching, I found that Prarie Games had a similar problem discussed here: http://www.prairiegames.com/phpBB2/v...ht=qqhelper+ce
I searched the NullSoft site but found no reference to this problem. Did I just miss it? Has anyone else run into this problem? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

You should contact AV companies to fix this false positive.

I went to the VirusTotal site at the bottom of that page and tested one of our install files. Sure enough, several AV programs flag it as suspicious or as containing the QQHelper files. Is there anything that I can do when compiling to prevent this? Does it mean we are doing something wrong? Sorry for my ignorance. Just not sure as to the best way to proceed. Thank you.

Nothing wrong as long you're sure that packaged files are clean. Just post your complains to AV companies.
