Cd Instalation
ok i'm farely new at nsis. I picked up quite fast and have a fully workin install and uninstaller that creates the files. but what i need is this:

ok you download the file of the interent

it is a patch for a cd instalation

it checks to see if the disk is in the drive

then it sets the cd as the exe directory

Well first of all use GetDrives to get the CD drives on the system and then to identify which one is the correct one you'd probably have to identify a file on there using IfFileExists.
What do you mean by "sets the cd as the exe directory"?

like it's going to set the cd as the location of the files, where it needs to go to pull the files and thanks for the help i'm going to try that asap. Also i would love an actual working test script if thats possible
