Administrative rights needed?
Hi all,

A very basic question regarding NSIS installers. The installer that I am creating will be sent to several companies. I want to know what kind of rights are needed to use these installers at their local site. Does the user necessarily need to have admin rights on his/her computer to install or not ?

It depends on where you install your files on on which operating system.
On Vista you need admin rights to write file in "Program Files" to make sure you have add "RequestExecutionLevel admin"
