Detect Oracle 10g
Hi,

I am trying to determine whether oracle 10g or 9i is installed by checking the system registry. I have tried all the oracle detection code snippets on the main NSIS site, but none of them have worked. I have also tried searching the forum for past topics relating to oracle detection, but did not find any of the results very helpful. If anybody know how this can be done, please let me know.

Those snippets obviously worked for someone if they wound up in the wiki, so lets try and see why those fail now instead of creating an entirely new solution. What do you mean by don't work? Don't the registry keys they look for exist?
