What means ^ before variable name?
Dear All,
I have HM NSIS generated code and it uses "$(^Name)..." in a string. As far as I can see, it behaves the same as "$Name..."

Why it's writen like this. What is the difference? I can't find in user manual nor the formum nor google for a special character like ^.

It's a special language string for Name instruction that contains its value.

More generally speaking, the "roof" sign (^) is a prefix for internal language strings.
