Digital signature
:( Launching NSIS installers displays a warning telling 'unknown publisher'.

Must I purchase a digital signature to make these warnings disappear or is there another way ?

It seems Inno Setup installers do not display such warnings though not digitally signed.

Adding version information to your installer might help. See 4.8.3 Version Information in NSIS Manual.

Version information won't help. You have to buy a certificate and use it to sign your installers.
