Uninstaller not deleting files.
Hi all,
I'm a NSIS newbie and I'm having problems with my first installer. I created it following the MultiUser Installer wizard of EclipseNSIS.
When I run the installer on WindowsXP from a user account with administrator privileges everything works as expected: the application is installed under C:\Program Files and the uninstaller works OK.
However, when I run it from a limited user account the application is installed at C:\Documents and Settings\Alex\Local Settings\Application Data, but the installer fails to remove the application (it marks the files to be removed on reboot, but this does not happen). Actually, just the uninstaller executable is removed successfully.
Am I doing anything wrong or is this a bug? Please find the whole NSIS script attached; it is just a hello world installer that creates a URL link to the startup menu that doesn't get deleted by the uninstaller.
