IE7 settings....
In my installer, I have to automate the following IE7 browser settings...

1.Open Internet explorer. Click on Tools menu.
2.Select Internet Options.
3.Click on Security tab.
4.Click on Custom Level.
5.Scroll down Security section until you get Miscellaneous option.
6.Under Miscellaneous, find the option “Allow websites to open windows without address or status bars”, Select ‘Enable’ radio button.
7.Scroll down until you get Scripting Option.
8.Under Scripting option, find the option “Allow status bar updates via script”, select ‘Enable’ radio button.
9.To save settings, click on ‘Ok’ button until you return to internet explorer.

The above procedure is manual and web site user have to do it.

So can I avoid this and do it using NSIS????

Please suggest if there are any ways to do it.

use regmon to see what changes ie does to the registry. you can modify the registry keys easily using nsis.

I downloaded the Regmon registry monitor. It shows the registry event log. Now what to do next?

Do you have any idea??
