Copy Files by regular expressions
Hello,

I have got a problem concerning copying specified files.
I've a folder, which contains some more folders. In this folder are a lot of different files.
My aim is to copy some of this files by giving the installer a regular expression. The installer shuold than search all the directories and copy the specified files to the system. The copied files shuold have the same folder structure.

Is there an easy way to do this? Maybe a Plugin? I haven't found one.

I hope you can help me.

You can use the Locate plugin for this. But it probably won't accept regex.

thanks for this idee, but can you maybe give me an example? I just tried it but instead of producing files only directories were produced with the name of the files...

I've never used the locate plugin, so no, I can't give you an example. You can find the information you need in the locate plugin readme.
