Need help with a custom page
I created a simple installer, but looking for code to add to my script to have the following additionally. I need to have this functionality after extracting files , but before the Finish page

1. Need input from user of location of an external application's exe file(e.g lets say i want to know location of excel executable file which be default is extapp.exe)
2. Need to issue a DOS command to run the extapp.exe application with parameters.

e.g "C:\Program Files....\extapp.exe" "Param1" "one of the files located in installation folder called createcat.xxx"

Here is my code:

You can add a second DIRECTORY page after instfiles. You can customize it using the MUI macros/defines. See the MUI2 readme: http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Docs/Mod...02/Readme.html

; MUI 1.67 compatible ------
!include "MUI.nsh"
I would switch to MUI2.nsh. You could create a custom page with a directory field on it using nsDialogs rather than use another directory page.
