NSIS can support the disk spanning?
i know inno setup can support the disk spanning,

but i prefers NSIS . and i wanna know if the NSIS supports the disk spanning ?

with plugins ?

You can use a 7z/zip/cab plugin, or use unrar.exe or 7za.exe, but you'll probably have to include a copy of the LGPL with those. I do know you can freely distribute a 7z self-extracting archive without supplying a license or even giving any credit, even for commercial purposes: http://sourceforge.net/p/sevenzip/di...hread/88757edf

Perhaps the same applies to rar self-extractors. This would be nice, because 7z cannot split sfx archives over multiple discs.

I think the CABSetup plug-in (http://nsis.sourceforge.net/CABSetup_plug-in) can handle this easily.
