Hello all!
This might just be a dumb suggestion, but I was wondering if anyone thinks that adding support for skins to NSIS would be cool? This way each product could easily personalize the dialog colors and buttons to make the installer look cool. What do you think?

I think it would be a waste of time and space. Its just an installer. You can already customize the background colors and such. Adding skin support would just make the size of the installer grow. Adding more customization options would be fine, but to build a skinning system is overkil.

But if you really wanted to, do what winamp install does!
Make your NSIS installer silently with 0 user intervention unpack to a temp folder then launch yourskinnedapp.exe /install to do the rest of the work.
Skinned installers! hehe whatever next!

Not that I need to for my stuff, but I never even thought of that; even with it staring me in the face every time I install Winamp!
