Nice idea (I hope :)
Hello,
Why don't you make a page with a list of sw that use NSIS?
We've no problems to publish our also our .nsi conf files.
I think this is a good way to truely understand how other developers use NSIS.
Sometimes to see and try is better than to chat and ask :)
Fabrizio
Obviously the best way is that every developer can admin the part of information he likes to publish.

Hi Fabrizio,
that NSIS-Script-file-database would be really nice :) A (uncomplete) list of NSIS users already exists at http://www.firehose.net/free/nsis/users.html.

evilNSIS
if anyone codes php i am sure they know about evilwalrus, they have a large snippet db that is easy to find a piece of code to accomplish what you want, it is all user subbmitted snippets maybe something along those lines would be good. "download image and display it" simple descrips like that then lead to teh code :)

I wrote a PHP script that could read NSIS scripts, I plan on implementing this on the NSIS Project House. It is not much of a database ... yet, but it will be done.
