Reloading explorer
Hi all,
I have an NSIS install package that registers a couple of icons and a font. Problem is, it appears that I need to restart explorer to get windows to start using the icons and font.
My question: Is there any command that I can run to tell explorer to reload it's font and icon lists without restarting it?
Thanks,
Bryan

can't you simply close and re-open the explorer? there were posts about how to close running programs in this forums, just check them.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm talking about the main explorer process that controls the desktop. Killing this will cause the start bar and everything to disappear.

Hi!
I don't quite understand the icons problem. How can you register icons? Aren't they just regular files? If you can please more specific I can try to help...
