Using MUI 1.63 and 2.00b3

I am using the above-Interface
MUI 1.63


I have i english XP SP1 prof.

The setup for my program works fine in english, german and so on.
But when i select for example russian language( non ASCII-Language),
I do not see russian characters. Instead I see
special ASCII-Charakters above ASCII-128.

What i have to do, to see russion characters
with MUI ?? What do i wrong ??

Do you have Russian support for Windows installed?

I do not have russian support instralled.

But i have installed far east-support.
I have the problem also with simplified and traditional chinese.
and this support is installed.

( I have also screens in my applictaion with chinese utf8-characters )

NSIS doesn't use Unicode. I have no problems with Hebrew which uses values above 128. Are you sure you have installed all of the support required and not just Unicode support? Have you selected that language as your default language for non Unicode applications?

I have NOT selected for example chinese for not unicode applications.

where can I select simplified chinese for non unicode apllictaions ??

In the Regional and Language Options control panel, Advanced tab, Language for non-Unicode programs group box.

Now its working,
after I have made the changes in regional settings
