LANGUAGE SPECIFIC FONTS

Both NSIS and the Modern UI support language specific fonts now.

NSIS

The default dialog font is 'MS Shell Dlg'.

Modern UI

The default font for the title on the Welcome/Finish page is 'Verdana', the default font for the header title is 'MS Shell Dlg'.

Change fonts

For non-western languages, these fonts might not work properly (especially on Windows 9x/ME).

If you want to change the dialog font, edit the NLF language file (there is more information in the file). You can also change the codepage.

For the Modern UI, add one or more of the following strings to the language file.

MUI_FONT_HEADER
MUI_FONTSIZE_HEADER
MUI_FONTSTYLE_HEADER

MUI_FONT_TITLE
MUI_FONTSIZE_TITLE
MUI_FONTSTYLE_TITLE

Please test the fonts with both Windows 2000/XP and Windows 9x/ME.

Romanian translations v4

Here are the translations for romanian language. There are 2 versions. The normal one that works for NT/2000/XP and a simplified one for Win95/98/ME. (Win9x does not select corectly the codepages)

I suggest keeping both versions.

Please attach the files.

We can't use two different version. Please try to make it work with both (if the default codepage works, that's ok too).

Is not a problem of the codepage, the problem is related to the OS. Windows 95,98 and Millenium have *limited* multilanguage support. Not even the Romanian version of Microsoft Office, they made special fonts for win9x to make the menus work. Why? Simple, the OS menu, dialogs, windows doesn't handle correct the codepage.

This problem is not specific to Romanian language that has only 4 new special characters, it is common to other languages.

If you do not want to use the both version please use the simple one that is good for all versions. The old version (v3) was simplified like this.
