GetWindowsVersion does not work for Windows XP!!

Is there anything else one might use to get the proper windows version??

Any help is appreciated.

Works fine for me. Are you sure you called it right (first call the function and then pop the value from the stack)?

The function returns "2000" and I am running Windows XP

Are you sure you are using the latest GetWindowsUpdate version (updated by me), with support for XP/2003 etc.?
