setup vs. set-up

can a native speaker tell me what the right wording
is or what the difference between setup and set-up is.

Set-up is pretty well nonexistent, it'll be a relic from the brief period where the noun phrase hadn't properly become a noun.

Basically, it's "Setup" 🙂
