Add to Shell>New

how can i add an entry to the shell>new dialog? is it possible to do so without a registry operation, cause it has to be a binary entry?

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Discardable\PostSetup\ShellNew

Tried WriteRegBin?

didn't know it existed, maybe mixed up with a missing command to read a binary string. however, this leaves the question what to write there 🙂
