Translating "Verifying Installer"

are there any news on the topic how to change the "Verifying Installer" text, or do I still have to recompile NSIS for that?

news? i guess there were no changes planned. think a resource editor is enough to change that. i think you can even do this within your script (i remember kichik posting an example which allowed adding additional icons via resourceeditor).

just found the quoted post about manipulating your installer with resource editor on compile time.
