Registers $0 / $R0... Difference?

Hi,

i only want to know if there is a hidden difference between the Registers $0-$9 and $R0-$R9 or is it just the same handling? I'm not shure, cause of the fact they are called $0-$19 or $R0-$R19?!

$0-$9, $R0-$R9. Nothing special. They are just pre-defined variables which once upon a time is all we had before the Var instruction was introduced.

I tend to use $R0-$R9 for local stuff and $0-$9 for global stuff.
