Text File Output

I am having problems finding a tutorial that will help me do two things.

First, I want to add a field where a user puts in a key, and then it writes it to a txt file. if anyone has a link to help me out that would be great.

Oh, yes i googled "NSIS txt file," "NSIS create txt file", and a few others, and I haven't really found what I am looking for. Thank you for your help!
