make installdir a drive, not a directory

i'm using nsis for my little installer and i need the installdir to be a drive the user can choose, _not_ a whole directory.

Is there an easy way to achieve this in nsis?

yes, you are right. but your pointless indoctrination attempts are just as annoying as those by lazy people. nothing will change, people will always ask. you think you can change that, alright, i hope you enjoy your crusade. just sometimes i wonder why have the time and ambition to write down these steps when you obviously went through them yourself and just could've posted the direct link.

(i've been watching this forum for years, but i just signed up so i can express what has been boiling in me for a long time)

i did use the search, i just forgot that this is the whole winamp forum, not just for nsis

so, 5) did help actually, eventhough i like to agree with petersilie. i've been to web boards where all search results you could find were suggestions to use the search.
