simplesc.dll missing from beta release 3.0

I am new to NullSoft, but I noticed that the SimpleSC.dll is missing from release 3.0. Has this DLL been replaced by another (in which case there is missing info in Release Notes) or is this a legitimate bug? I can always import this DLL, but it will be nice to know exactly what is going on.

This is a 3rd-party plugin, it is not part of the official release...

SimpleSC.dll not working for NullSoft 3.0

I am trying to upgrade from 2.46 to 3.0 because I need Unicode support. The problem I ran into is that SimpleSC.dll does not work with 3.0. I emailed the author and am waiting for an answer. I decided to post an entry here to see if anyone has experienced the same issue and if you have, have you been able to find a solution or a feasible work around.
