Create Desktop Icon and Uninstaller

Hello,

I am new to NSIS installer creator and never used it before. I have downloaded the NSIS 2.46 and able to create an exe from the .zip file. This exe is simply copying files and pasting to the specified directory and which is good but I am in need of following items.

1. creating a desktop icon where user can double click on the icon and an application opens.
2. Creates uninstall in the Control Panel - Add remove Programs

Could someone help me?

What have you tried so far? There should be enough information out there for you to figure this out on your own with a little research...

Not trying to be snarky, but you can easily find answers to such basic things with a simple search of the Wiki and documentation.
