Qihoo 360 false positive in uninstall.exe for 2.5?

Hi,

We recently switched to NSIS 2.5. Afterwards, one of our customers reported that the NSIS uninstaller (uninstall.exe) was getting flagged as the following malware:

HEUR/QVM20.1.Malware.Gen

As far as I can tell this is a false positive, as other malware programs don't flag it and we found no evidence that it's malicious.

Has anyone else seen this result with Qihoo 360?

Yep, sounds like a false positive. HEUR[istics ]/...Gen[eric].

Report it to the vendor and the problem should go away...

Qihoo uses 3 AV engines;
Avira, Bitdefender and Qihoo.

Upload the file to Virus Total and see which engine is flagging it
