i have a installer with a lot of files
(~ 1400)
when i use makensisw it crashes
seems to be a prob with the output window ?
it compiles successfully with the dos window
maybe a fault of my compilation ...
maybe a bug in makensisw

Crish, I didn't test it, but did you use the latest version. Bugs can be reported in the "bug report place" BTW and that's where rainwater posted a link to new source:

The version that was released with NSIS 1.96 had a bug in it using large outputs. That should be fixed with the latest version.
