It does not use magenta for transparency. Can you create one without black borders at all?
oops.
also i'm wondering, why the checks don't get displayed properly, thought 256 colors were possible.

i don't think i want to remove the border. show me a screenshot of the wizard bitmap in use.
The last wizard bitmap is fine.
The background color of your checkbox image is not always magenta, I'll fix that.

just for the nostalgia, i think the attached icon should be included. it was the default icon that came with NSIS, when it was still PiMP 🙂
though i have ideas on new checkboxes at the moment, i played a little with my box icons from the distribution. since my new nsis icons site isn't up yet, i post the varied icons here. enjoy.
7zip is not usable for all, use zip instead 🙁

geez i like the micro most 🙂
@joost: i just figured that i makes no sense to use rounded edges in NSIS\Contrib\Graphics\Wizard\arrow.bmp, so i removed them. could you please replace the version distributed with nsis with this.
as a matter of fact, i don't like this image a lot, so you could also replace it with this (preview). also uses an arrow, so you could add it under the same name! 🙂

I have replaced the image.
updated one of my icons yesterday, as vista's desktop displays icons in 48x48 by default. no 100% happy, as i the glossy effect is not like on the smaller versions, but i guess nobody will notice (and i will try again soon!)
enjoy!
